In a typical Hollywood mood, disgraced offensive lineman Richie Incognito has reportedly sought out professional help in the wake of recent events. Incognito has been under heavy scrutiny for months since Jonathan Martin came forward accusing Incognito of constant harassment. The NFL launched a private investigation which made public just how bad the situation was in Miami.
Now, NFL Network’s Jeff Darlington is reporting Incognito has checked into a facility in Arizona for help dealing with his vast mental stress and proper ways to deal with it. Recently, pictures of his Ferrari surfaced showing the car had been beaten with a bat. Incognito says he did it himself to relieve some of his stress. Hopefully, Incognito can get some time away from the stresses of the NFL and become a better person and this is not just a ploy to show teams he has “changed” and they should sign him because he is a changed man.
Wonder if he realizes that smashing his Ferrari with a bat will actually add to a bad image of him. Good he’s getting help.
