Robert Griffin III love his fans.  When he heard about a plan to help surprise one of his biggest fans, he happily obliged.  The Redskins quarterback made a guest appearance at a Centerville high school lacrosse game to help junior Morgan Assel ask her fellow classmate to prom.

Assel was planning to ask Juwaan Espinal, who suffers from cerebral palsy and is restricted to a wheel chair, to the big dance.  Griffin and Assel hid behind two students carrying a giant sign that said, “I know I’m not as cool as RG3, but will you go to…”  Then they cleared out of the way to reveal Assel and Griffin holding an additional sign that read, “Prom with me?”

The expression on Espinal’s face showed just how shocked and excited the Centerville junior was to see one of his best friends standing beside his favorite football player.  Of course, the shocked 17-year-old agreed to go to prom with his friend.  Afterwards, the quarterback stayed to take multiple pictures with the couple and signed autographs for those at the game.
