large_giants-albany-08-26-09They may have had a big win on Sunday, but they were not treated quite as well off the field. During their last visit to Candlestick Park, New York Giants players were reportedly robbed back in East Rutherford, New Jersey. When the Giants return from San Francisco, they found that someone had broke the lock that guards their cars. The lot is protected by a security team and is surrounded by an iron fence. It is directly across from MetLife stadium where the Giants play.

An unknown player’s car, a 1996 Chevy Caprice, was stolen while others were broken into. Offensive tackle James Brewer who has had his car broken into in the past, tweeted the following, “Only in Jersey can someone be heartless enough to break into my car while we are in Cali making fans proud..Geez get your life right.” There are currently no suspects in the case.
