American skiier and Tiger Woods rumored girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, was involved in a serious crash during the Super-G Tuesday that resulted in her having to be airlifted to a hospital. Vonn crashed during a race after launching off a jump. She was thrown 500 feet and looked like she came down wrong on her right leg. She received treatment on the course, but it was ultimately decided that she needed further care. It appears that she injured her right knee.
Vonn has been hampered by injuries throughout her career. She was coming off an internal injury just in time for this race. Before the competition, Vonn had this to say, “I’m finally coming in healthy. I’m definitely getting ready to get my game face on.” Hopefully, there is no serious damage to Vonn and she can come back and compete!
