For the third straight game, the New York Mets are without their star player. Franchise player, David Wright, will be watching the game tonight from the bench. Tonight the Mets are in Philadelphia to take on their NL East Division foes, Phillies. To make matters worse, they are facing Cliff Lee who has pitched against them three times and only them to score one run. Basically, do not expect much from this team tonight. This team has been in an offensive slump since Wright has been sidelined. It seems evident that Wright is headed for the DL. That means fans will be cheering on the Minor League Mets a lot longer than they had hoped. Well to ease the pain, I included a really good picture; hopefully that helps some of the female fans!
