Yet another athlete has decided to make the transition into music. The latest athlete is… New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert. Shumpert will be featured on First Lady Michelle Obama’s album under her Let’s Move project. The Let’s Move project aims to help fight childhood obesity. Some other notable artists on the album are Ashanti, Doug E. Fresh, Jordin Sparks, and Travis Barker.
Unfortunately for Knicks fans, teammate JR Smith is not going to be featured on the album. Shumpert has been rapping for a few years now. Recently, he released his own version of Drake’s verse on the song Versace. However, he is known for his Knicks’ anthem with JR Smith. Here is their duet:
