Former MLB player, Lenny “Nails” Dykstra was released from jail recently and was seen out in public for the first time. Â The center fielder was sentenced to three years after pleading no contest to grand theft auto and filing a false financial statement. Â He was originally sentenced to three years in 2012, but was let out early.
This is not the first time Dykstra has been in trouble.  The former All-Star has fallen far from his playing days.  Dykstra was named in the Mitchell Report as being a steroid user during his playing time, filed bankruptcy, and got mixed up with all types of illegal activities.  Dykstra has had a very rocky road and he certainly looks the part.  At least he can be happy he has a grandson on the way as son Cutter is expecting with fiance  Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
