A division game is always important, regardless of what’s going on, especially between NFC East rivals. The Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to travel to Maryland to play the Washington Redskins, which the Eagles have only referred to as “Washington”.  However, the weather could possibly make the game a complete impossibility with what the weather is predicted to be.

While there have been no official reports that the game will be postponed or canceled, some have reported that the NFL has been in contact with the Washington Redskins to come up with a backup plan.  It is still very unclear on how much Hurricane Joaquin will actually affect game time or if it will even touch down in Maryland, especially with all of the different reports on the movement and severity of the hurricane.

The game would be the first time that the Eagles and Redskins have met this season and is set to be an interesting one for both Sam Bradford and Kirk Cousins. While the odds are clearly in the Eagles’ favor this week, no one thought that the Redskins would defeat the St. Louis Rams. With a lot of injuries on both sides, the game will test just how good each team can handle themselves with some of their key players out. The game is set to be on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
