Former NFL safety Darren Sharper has been charged with suspicion of rape in Los Angeles. Sharper played for the New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers during his career. The 5-time Pro Bowler was arrested on Friday in connection to two separate sexual assaults. One took place in October 2013 and one was this month.
After being booked, Sharper was released on $200,000 bail. His first court date is set for February 14th, Valentine’s Day, how very, very inappropriate. Sharper worked as an NFL analyst, however, the NFL Network has suspended him indefinitely without pay.
