Baltimore has lost another fan favorite with Ed Reed announcing his decision to sign with the Houston Texans. Â The longtime Raven has been a staple to the purple and black defense, but the two sides just could not come up with a new contract. Â Instead of shunning the city that has loved him since he was drafted in 2002, he showed his love for all the fans and the city of Baltimore. Â Reed took out a full page ad in today’s Baltimore Sun newspaper to tell the city, “. . . this is not goodbye, but a See Ya Soon”. Â Baltimore also lost long time favorite Ray Lewis after he announced his retirement at the beginning of the playoffs. Â Classy move Ed.
