Â When these two teams met in Miami, Duke got rocked by an energized Miami team that showed Duke it was a force to be reckoned with. Â Miami handed Duke their worst loss in nearly thirty years! Â Gone are the days that Duke and UNC bully the rest of the ACC. Â Miami can secure the ACC Championship with a win tonight against Duke.
Duke not only wants to knock off a formidable opponent, but also rebound after a surprising loss at Virginia. Â With March Madness knocking on the door, both of these teams have something to prove in a year where there is no clear favorite.
This is a tough matchup. Â Duke has all the motivation on their side after being embarrassed on national television. Â However, Miami has found a groove and is proving that they can be a powerhouse in basketball. Â I think Duke wins this one barely only because it is so hard to embarrass Coach K twice.
