The New Jersey Devils may be sitting at home watching the playoffs on the couch, but that has not stopped them from making moves.  The Devils announced today that they have resigned 42-year-old Jaromir Jagr to a one-year contract.  The deal is reportedly worth between $5 and $6 million.

He led the team in scoring last year with 24 goals and a total of 67 points.  He is currently tied for sixth for all-time NHL scoring during the regular season.  He and teammate Martin Brodeur are the only remaining active players from the 1990 NHL draft.
