The New Jersey Devils may be sitting at home watching the playoffs on the couch, but that has not stopped them from making moves. Â The Devils announced today that they have resigned 42-year-old Jaromir Jagr to a one-year contract. Â The deal is reportedly worth between $5 and $6 million.
He led the team in scoring last year with 24 goals and a total of 67 points.  He is currently tied for sixth for all-time NHL scoring during the regular season.  He and teammate Martin Brodeur are the only remaining active players from the 1990 NHL draft.
