NFL_week_14_eagles_135510680_620x350Normally these two teams do not cause too much controversy when they play each other.  However, with both of these teams offseason acquisitions, this game got a lot more interesting.  Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid has the most wins in Eagles’ franchise history.  However, after the team went 4-12 last season, he got the axe and Chip Kelly picked up the pieces.  Kelly is a first year NFL coach whose speedy offense has taken the NFL by storm.

The offense succeeded Week 1 against the Washington Redskins keeping the Washington defense tired and their offense frustrated.  The second week they had less success and lost.  The Chiefs, however, are undefeated after having a season to forget last year.  The Chiefs not only acquired Reid, but also former San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith to compliment running back Jamaal Charles.

Along with Reid returning to Philadelphia, former Eagles’ quarterback Donovan McNabb will also be in attendance.  The Eagles will retire McNabb’s number five jersey in front of the home crowd.  The Chiefs have finally started putting some pieces together and will steal one in Philadelphia.  Dwayne Bowe finally has a quarterback who can throw to him and a good running back in Charles.  The Chiefs’ defense has also been spectacular only allowing one touchdown and getting nine sacks.  The defense will need to be on their toes tonight as they face the NFL’s fastest offense. Chiefs vs. Eagles- who you takin?
