It all comes down to this.  Tonight, two of the country’s best will face-off in Indianapolis – one looking to capture their 5th national title under their esteemed coach’s reign; the other, seeking their first in 74 years.

As predicted by Sports As Told By A Girl, Duke blazed through the tournament rounds, capping their run thus far with a landslide victory against Tom Izzo’s Spartans on Saturday night.  They’ll meet the Wisconsin Badgers in the final round of the NCAA Tournament.  The Blue Devils managed to take down their eventual championship opponents in enemy territory earlier this year, scoring 80 points on the home team.

Despite the outcome of December’s match-up, don’t expect a feeling of déjà vu tonight.  Duke and Wisconsin have each shown a tremendous amount of growth and noticeable evolution over the past four months.  This will be a different game and two completely different teams.

Saturday night serves as proof of just how athletic and determined Kaminsky and co. really are.  The Badgers shattered Kentucky’s dreams of achieving perfection in a semifinal thriller that ended in a 71-64 victory for the team in red.  To much of America’s dismay, Goliath was slayed and Wisconsin advances to get revenge for that December night in Madison.

There is no clear favorite here.  While both offensive powerhouses, Duke and Wisconsin have some work to do when it comes to improving defensively.  Will Duke claim their ever-first victory over a no. 1 seed during a championship game or does Wisconsin defy the odds and make of the toughest runs to the title in history?  Find out tonight at 9:18 p.m.
