The Comeback Kids have done it again. The Anaheim Ducks managed to sweep the Los Angeles Kings to the side in a shoot out victory of 6-5.

Things were not looking so bright for the Ducks over the last week. After losing multiple consecutive games and also adding players to their injured list, no one knew how long they were going to be stuck in the rut for. Fans especially started getting worried when two stars of the team, Corey Perry and Francois Beauchemin, had to sit out due to increasing flu symptoms.

The first period of the rivalry night against the Kings proved to be a tough one with the Kings quickly scoring then making it 2-0 in just a snap. What seemed like an eternity of having the Kings leading the Ducks along 5-3 for the rest of the night, the tables suddenly turned.

With only six minutes remaining, the Ducks came back with two goals to tie the game and then the nerve-wrecking shoot out victory which left the full house in Honda Center ecstatic to say the least.

Ryan Kesler was the first star of the game having scored two goals for the Ducks and scoring the final goal in the shootout. Before the game, people were worried about how the game was going to go but in the end, the Ducks proved “No Perry, No problem.”
