The flu bug has definitely been biting around the Anaheim Ducks’ locker room. Right winger Corey Perry will have to miss his third game in a row against the Vancouver Canucks due to the flu symptoms hitting him the hardest.

Just last week, captain Ryan Getzlaf was also out due to the same symptoms but bounced right back and was able to play. The same illness also affected defenseman Francois Beauchemin, who might have to end up sitting out if things get worse.

Not only is the flu affecting the Ducks but the injuries list keeps growing. Defenseman Cam Fowler is still a possible sit out after suffering a lower body injury during Friday’s game but practiced Sunday morning.  Perry will be eligible for the possibility to play in the Ducks’ next game against their rivals, the Los Angeles Kings. Despite missing two games, Perry is still tied for the league-lead in goals with eleven.
