There is something about San Francisco Giants baseball and even years that prove magic does exist!  The Giants won their third World Series title this season after winning it all in 2010 and 2012.  It is quite interesting because in 2011 and 2013, they did not advance into the playoffs.  The Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals in seven games to become world champions.

The star performer and series MVP Madison Bumgarner pitched in three games and fooled the Royals hitters every time they stepped into the box.  Giving up only one run in all three of his appearances, the MVP honor is well deserved.  The one run came on a solo home run in the seventh inning of game one hit by Salvador Perez.  He threw a complete game shutout in game five and came in for relief in game seven.
