She is arguably one of the greatest athletes of all time.  Serena Williams is coming off her third consecutive US Open title and is now an 18-time champion.  She is a favorite among bettors, just check William Hill tennis odds.  Yet she is only going to be 33 years old, so what is left for the tennis superstar to accomplish?

Williams and has been playing tennis professionally since 1995 when she was just fourteen years old.  She worked her way up from being ranked 304th overall in the world to the number one female tennis player in the world SIX times in her career.  Along the way, she had to play older sister Venus 26 times, beating her 14-12 in those matches.  They have battled eight times for a Grand Slam title with Serena winning six of those matches.

It has not been all glory for Serena, she has tasted defeat many teams.  At one point, Nike even threatened to drop her as a client if she did not perform up to their standards.  However, her ability to bounce back and perform on the clay court was what set her apart.  Her most recent performance against good friend Caroline Wozniacki shows that she has not only can play with the best, but that she is the best.

So where does she go now?  With 61 total Grand Slam titles, she has nothing left to prove.  Besides tennis, Williams has many other jobs including her own handbags and jewelry line, currently sold on the Home Shopping Network. She has also appeared on countless television shows such as Law and Order: SVU and voice work for Family Guy.   However, maybe it will be time for Williams to step away from the courts and limelight and focus on building a family.  Williams is currently rumored to be dating her coach Patrick Mouratoglou. Maybe babies are next for the superstar athlete?
