Looks like athleticism runs in the Woods family! Today, 23 year old Cheyenne Woods, niece of Tiger, won the 2014 Australian Ladies Masters! Â She was neck and neck with amateur Minjee Lee, but in the end won by two strokes. Â She finished the weekend tournament four under 69 and her very first professional win on a major tour. Â Her uncle sent her a tweet expressing how proud he is:
Woods had previously fallen short the past two years and did not make the final cut. Â This is her second time on the Ladies’ European Tour and has yet to reach her potential. Â If she has half the drive and competitiveness that her uncle possess, the gold world better watch out!
