College football as we know it is going through some drastic changes. The 2020 season is quickly approaching and we are in for a bumpy ride. So get ready college football fans for a wild 2020 season

As we all know, COVID-19 has taken over the world. It has affected not only the sports world but almost every aspect of life. From students not able to go to school to people losing their jobs, COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the world. However, one thing that keeps this country going is sports.

Sports are what unites this nation together. We might all have our favorite teams, but, at the end of the day, we all have one thing in common; the love of the game. Our love for the game is what unites us together and in times like these, we all need to come together and help out one another in need.

College football is going to be looking a lot different this year. Some universities such as the Ivys, UConn, and the MAC conference have canceled all fall sports, so no football for those schools.

However, some good news is that the Power Five conferences have not closed the books on the 2020 season just yet. Some modifications of course are in place. Starting off, conferences are playing in conference games only, meaning no more USC vs. Alabama in Tuscaloosa or Ohio State vs. Oregon in Eugene. However, we will still get to see some great matchups like Alabama vs. Auburn and Ohio State vs. Michigan.

Even though we won’t get to see some top matchups that we were all hoping to watch this upcoming season, at the end of the day, we will get to see some college football. As a huge college football fan myself, I was a bit sad with in-conference games only. However, we have to see the positive in every situation. The most important thing is for athletes, coaches, and staff to be healthy and safe.

I know that we all are living in a trying time, but we all need to keep a positive attitude and have hope. Sports will come back, and even if we have a modified season, it’s better than no football at all. As of now, there will be college football this year, but that can all change in the coming weeks. So stay tuned college football fans; you’re in for a wild ride.

I hope you guys are all staying healthy and safe. Things may change in the coming weeks. Updates will be available as they become available.
