The big question for all NFL prospects is what is going to be your first big purchase when you sign your contract.  Louisville quarterback turned overanalyzed NFL prospect Teddy Bridgewater decided not to wait until the big day.  When Bridgewater was just nine years old, he promised his mother that when he made it to the NFL he would buy her a pink Cadillac Escalade.  Pink in honor of her being a breast cancer survivor.

Now, that his dream of playing in the NFL is looking more and more like reality, he went ahead and purchased her that car.  With a little help from Robin Roberts, Bridgewater was able to surprise his mom at her birthday brunch.  The surprise and much more was captured on film in a short film entitled #Promise2Rose.  It is directed by Spike Lee who sits down with the quarterback and helps him pick out the right shade of pink.  The film also details Bridgewater’s football career.
