His name has been dragged through the mud all week.  Accusations of being a bully and a racist.  Suspended Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito sat down with Fox’s Jay Glazer for an interview.  He repeated everything that his teammates were friends.  They had a big brother-little brother relationship.  So where did it all go wrong?

When you ask Incognito he states that Martin texted him that it is not his fault.  Incognito said that Martin told him, “I don’t blame you guys, I blame some stuff in the locker room, I blame the culture, I blame what was going on around me. ” As for using the n-word, he explains that it was a word that is tossed around in the locker room by players of all races.  He feels that using that word does not make him a racist.  So, does it make it okay to toss that word around so lightly?  Definitely not and that seems to be the problem.

As more details emerge, I think everyone is ready to hear what Martin has to say for himself.  There is a lot of oneside-ness being shown to the public.  Teammates have said they would prefer Incognito in the locker room.  Martin’s attorney claims that he was physically threatened, but teammates denied that this was the truth.   If it was, however, how were coaches in the dark about this?  It seems impossible, but anything is impossible with this story.
