Part of being Super Bowl champions is doing lots and lots of media appearances. Last night, Super Bowl 48 MVP Malcolm Smith and cornerback Richard Sherman appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show. The guys talked about the celebration after their big win, calling their head coach Pete Carroll the “white haired party animal”.
Smith also explains why his dunk attempt after his pick-six failed so miserably. While it is Sherman’s personality that gets everyone talking, it was his ankle that caught my attention. He suffered a high ankle sprain during the Super Bowl, but did not have crutches nor walk with a limp on the show which is a great sight for Seahawks fans. The best part, however, was Sherman’s answer when Kimmel asked if he would agree to a couples massage with 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree.
