bigben1It is always fun when these two play each other.  Two hard-hitting teams that play a very physical game.  Well, it used to be before Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and James Harrison all left. These two teams have underperformed all season. The Ravens seem to be suffering from a Super Bowl hangover.  Joe Flacco has looked less like the guy who carried Baltimore with one arm and more like the Flacco everyone thought was the most overrated and overpaid quarterback.  The Steelers have not faired well, winning their first game last season against the New York Jets. Their offensive line has really struggled and Big Ben has suffered from it.

The Ravens are having a really tough time running the ball and it is reflected in their 3-3 record.  If the Ravens can establish a running game that would take a lot of pressure off Flacco. Flacco already has eight interceptions and has been sacked 11 times over the last three games.  The key for the Steelers is to not turn the ball over.  Last week was the first game they had zero turnovers and they played much better overall.  The Steelers will have to force turnovers and keep the Ravens defense on the field more.

The Ravens have looked really bad, but the Steelers have looked even worse.  It is tough to say, but I think the Ravens will win this one, but it will be ugly.  They still will not have a rushing game, but Flacco will make one good throw in the end that will win this game.  The Steelers have put too much pressure on Ben Roethlisberger to make perfect passes and sometimes it costs him and his team.  These are usually low scoring games, and I expect the same this time.  Ravens vs. Steelers- who you takin?
