He is an assassin on the court, but off the court he is a comedian. Â While he is still recovering from ACL surgery, Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo addressed the crowd on opening night. Â While he was wearing a suit and talking about getting home safely, it was an accessory that Rondo chose to put on right before addressed the TD Garden crowd. Â Rondo walked up to half court wearing a fake beard to pay homage to the Boston Red Sox. Â The Red Sox all started growing out their beards throughout the season. Â Most notably, Mike Napoli who admitted he did not shave all season. Â Rondo was constantly touching the beard and looked like he was considering growing one of his own!
