After taking a tour of both New York teams, Plaxico Burress is heading back to where it all started. Â Before he scored the winning touchdown for the Giants and way before he became infamous for shooting himself. Â Burress missed the 2009 and the 2010 season while he was locked away for the shooting incident. Â He tried to make a comeback with the New York Jets last season, but that team is not the place to go if you are trying to escape controversy. Â The Jets did not resign him and he started the season with no job in sight.
The Steelers who are looking so depleted right now decided to take a chance on the wide out after he worked out with them yesterday. Â This should be a good reunion for Plax and Steelers fans, who saw their beloved quarterback go down and then his backup follow suit. Â I think this is the place where he can restart his career and try to put all the drama behind him. Â Hopefully, they don’t make him wear those hideous throwback uniforms, I think he wore enough stripes in prison.
