Allegedly, the 23-year-old kicked in the door into an apartment that he believed to be that of an ex-girlfriend. Â It was not her apartment and the startled owner of the apartment shot Dejean-Jones. Â The owner was located in the bedroom of the apartment when Dejean-Jones broke down the bedroom door as well at which the owner shot at the intruder. Dallas Police found Dejean-Jones and immediately rushed him to a local hospital.
