One of the best rivalries in the NFL plays again this afternoon. Â These two teams have had some amazing games in the past. Â Here is Exhibit A from the last week of last season:
Now they meet again with the Packers in an unfamiliar place. Â At 1-2, Green Bay is desperate for a win. Â Aaron Rodgers has not played up to his normal expectations, which are ridiculously high as he is an MVP candidate every season. Â The blame cannot be totally placed on the quarterback. Â The Packers have had no running game this season with Eddie Lacy still looking of his first touchdown of the season. Â The Bears, on the other hand, have almost overachieved with all of the injuries they have suffered already this season.
Defensive end Jared Allen will not play today. Â Both Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey have been less than 100 percent, but have battled through. Â The Bears do have an emerging star in Kyle Fuller, who already has three interceptions in as many games. Packers vs. Bears- who you takin?
