No Jay Cutler. No Lance Briggs. Â No Jermichael Finley. Â No Clay Matthews. Â Not like it matters for the Green Bay Packers. They have beaten the Chicago Bears with both Cutler and Briggs on the field. Â Maybe without them, the Bears can finally overtake their division rival. Â The Bears are trying to avoid dropping to .500 and slipping out of the division race. Â The Packers, on the other hand, got off to a very slow start, but are currently on a four game winning streak.
The Bears defense has had a lot of injuries and going into Lambeau Field to face Aaron Rodgers is not going to help. Â Rodgers is having yet another dominant season throwing for fifteen touchdowns to four interceptions. Â Backup quarterback Josh McCown will be the opposing quarterback who played two games for the Bears in 2011, one of which was against the Green Bay Packers. Â In that game, the Beas lost and he threw two interceptions.
The Bears will have a big challenge tonight especially without their star players. Â The Bears defense has looked terrible this year since losing DT Nate Collins. Â They have lost their pass rush and ability to stop the run. Â The Packers defense, similarly, have not been too good, especially losing Clay Matthews, but they have been able to hold off opposing offenses. Â Aaron Rodgers has lost almost all of his receivers, but has still found a way to win. Â This does not look good for Chicago who will likely fall to .500 tonight. Â Luckily, they will still be ahead of the Vikings, but the Packers will move to 6-2. Â The Bears will have to try to not fall to far back as they wait for Cutler and Briggs to come back this year. Packers vs. Bears- who you takin?
