Terrell Owens started the year trying to reclaim the NFL glorious career he once had. However, it seems that dream has suddenly turned into a nightmare. Reportedly, the wide receiver was dropped by the Seahawks. Owens sent out this tweet, “I’m no longer a Seahawk. I THANK the organization 4 the opportunity, I’m truly blessed beyond belief. My FAITH is intact & will NOT waiver.” This is the time that teams make serious cuts in order to drop their rosters down to regular season size. Owens has not played in an NFL game since 2010. He only had two passes in the preseason. Owens was one of the greatest receivers of all time including 153 touchdowns, 1,078 receptions, and 15,934 total yards. However, this might just be the nail in the coffin of T.O.’s career. If he doesn’t get the hint yet, he is only going to be remembered for this leg of his career. At least we got this great video from his career. I think that touchdown celebrations really need to be brought back.
