After getting his second DUI this year, Denver point guard Ty Lawson it is time to seek treatment.  He was arrested this past Tuesday in Los Angeles for suspicion of driving under the influence; the first DUI was in Denver.  However, before he appears in front of a judge in either city, Lawson has made the decision to seek professional help.  His lawyer made the announcement that he will check into a facility in Malibu to focus on his sobriety and any other personal issue he may be dealing with currently.

Lawson appeared in a Denver court and the judge warned he could be arrested if he leaves treatment early.  Once the treatment, which lasts 30 days, is completed he will be ordered to wear a blood-alcohol monitor until he appears back in court.  He will be back in a Denver courtroom on August 20th.  Lawson may be dealing with professional issues as his team drafted highly coveted point guard Emmanuel Mudiay. The team could look to trade Lawson or possibly release him after these two arrests.

Update: Since the completion of this article, Lawson has been traded to the Houston Rockets.
