Jimmy Fallon is known for poking fun at anyone who will let him and the NFL has been the butt of many of his jokes. However in honor of the start of regular season football, Fallon let the stars speak for themselves.

Usually when Fallon hands out his superlatives, he reads it from under a picture of the player and it usually coincides with a game that’s being played that week/weekend. This time was even funnier because most of the players said it without any of the emotion Fallon displays or  any emotion at all. That’s actually what made it even funnier and as everyone knows by now, Fallon and his writers come up with some pretty hilarious stuff.

Some of the notable names featured in the video are Drew Brees, Andy Dalton, Matthew Stafford, Andrew Luck and Ndamukong Suh. However, the two funniest in the video have to be Rob Gronkowski and Peyton Manning. Both are known as two very likable guys and their superlatives have to be the two best of the video.

Gronk was given the superlative of “Human Minion” and if you look at his picture, you can kind of see why he would be given that title. As a known veteran throughout the league and an “old man” by NFL standards, Peyton Manning is never too shy about getting a jab about how he’s the oldest QB in the NFL right now. Manning’s superlative was “Most likely to have to explain to a rookie what a VCR is” which is fitting for a guy who was probably working with VCRs before that rookie was even born!
