While their season may not be going quite as well as last year, the defending Super Bowl champs are trying to end the regular season on a happy note. Â The tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut is still weighing heavy on all our heart including sports stars. Â To try and bring a few smiles to the students, teachers, and parents faces, the Giants have invited them to come down to watch their final regular season game against the Eagles. Â Transportation will be provided so that everyone who wants to go can attend. Â Hopefully, the town can have a little fun for a few hours.
Everyone knows the story about little Jack Pinto. Â Pinto was one of the twenty-six people murdered that tragic day. Â He was a huge Giants fan, especially of receiver Victor Cruz. Â Cruz went to visit the Pinto family and spend the day in Newtown to bring a little happiness to the community. Â This is why the Giants are class acts. Â It is less about being in the newspapers and more about bringing some happiness to people who truly need it. Â The Giants may not make the playoffs, but at least they go out on a high note.
