LeBron James is one of the most controversial athletes on the court, but everyone agrees he always gives back to the kids. Â The father of three tweeted last night about his new program, I Promise, that would send students to college for free.

This program works with the University of Akron to give out full-ride scholarships, valued at $38,000, to any child that completes the program. Â The exact qualifications are still being hammered out. Â James was seen yesterday practicing with Team USA in Las Vegas, but did not insure another Olympic run. Â If he did participate this would be his fourth time representing Team USA, bringing home the gold twice in 2008 and 2012.
