Move over Mike D’Antoni, coach Kobe Bryant has a few plays up his sleeve. Â Yesterday, the Lakers were set to play the Indiana Pacers and while Bryant was in the starting line up it was clear he was playing through a lot of pain. Â Instead of playing through it and potentially doing more damage, he came out in the first quarter and did not return for the rest of the game. Â Instead of just sitting on the bench and supporting his teammates, he grabbed the clipboard and drew up some plays. Â Why not? Â He’s a 17 year veteran and knows the game in and out better than anyone. Â It must have worked because the Lakers won 99-93 in a game they were predicted to get blown out. Â Sure looks like Dwight and Kobe have finally figured it out. They are on the same team, play like it.
