usp-nba_-playoffs-new-york-knicks-at-indiana-pacer1-4_3_rx513_c680x510Jason Kidd has not hit a shot in a month. JR Smith is playing with a mysterious illness that won’t allow his show to drop.  Tyson Chandler has gotten outplayed by Roy Hibbert in almost every aspect of the game.  So do the New York Knicks have a chance to save their season?  There is a chance, but being down 3-1 definitely does not make that a very big chance.  Heading back to New York could work in the Knicks favor as the Pacers have struggled on the road all season.  However, Coach Mike Woodson will need to play a much smarter game that includes limiting Jason Kidd’s minutes and anyone else who is not producing for them.  Woodson will need to put in their best rebounders as well because the Pacers have completely dominated the Knicks on the glass both defensively and more importantly offensively.

The Knicks should be able to win another one tonight. They are a very talented team that could win this series, but not the way they have been playing.  They need to move the ball better which is something that everyone has been saying, but the Knicks still are not doing.  The Knicks need to rebound better.  Every time the Pacers have won the rebound battle in this series, they have won the game.  If the Knicks can get it together then they should be able to give their fans some hope.  If they lose the series tonight, it will all come back to JR Smith’s ejection in Boston.
