Klay Thompson was unreal last night. Â If there wasn’t video proof, it would be hard to believe Thompson dropped 37 points in the third quarter alone! He set a new record for points scored in a quarter and finished the night with 52 points against in state rival Sacramento.
Going into the third quarter, Thompson had thirteen points. Â When time expired in the third quarter, he had FIFTY!! He went 13 for 13 during the third quarter and looked like a man possessed. Â It was not until the fourth quarter that he finally came back to Earth and missed a shot.
Thompson had everyone’s attention last night. Â His teammates could not help but stand back and watch the greatness. Â Fellow Splash Brother Steph Curry could not help but laugh during the third quarter. Â Thompson’s father, Mychal Thompson, works for the Lakers, but was able to catch his son’s record-setting performance. Â 
The Warriors have impressed all season and this is just their latest accomplishment. Â They are the best team in the Western Conference at 35-6. They welcome the Celtics tomorrow as they look to extend their winning streak to five games.
