By now, everyone knows Carmelo Anthony will test the free agency market this offseason. With the Knicks struggling to even make the playoffs this season, many predict Anthony will bolt. Now where he will exactly is still up for debate.   Some believe it is between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls.  To help in the decision making process, Bulls center Joakim Noah allegedly courted Anthony during All-Star Weekend.

Apparently, Melo was quite enticed by the possibility of playing on the Bulls.  He even went as far as to say, “, I’ve been watching you guys. I admire how hard you play. I admire how hungry you are.”  If that was not enough, he continued by saying Derrick Rose is his son’s favorite player.  Hopefully, he meant after him of course!  Adding Carmelo to the Bulls could elevate that team to a championship ready team.  With Noah playing like the best center and the league and Derrick Rose coming back next season, hopefully, that team could give the Pacers and Heat a run for their money.

Anthony, however, will likely want a max contract, meaning Chicago would have to do some things financially.  This could include having to amnesty Carlos Boozer, which is something they should do regardless, or maybe trading a young player such as Taj Gibson.  Of course if the league did learn that these talks did in fact take place, the Bulls could face some type of punishment.
