It was the best case scenario for the New York Jets who are once again making headlines for off the field drama.   The Jets blew out a deflated looking St. Louis team and Mark Sanchez actually had some great passes.   It seemed as though Tim Tebow was not a thought in anyone’s mind with the way the Jets were playing today.  Sanchez threw for 178 yards including one touchdown pass to Chaz Schilens.

Sam Bradford could not get anything going for the Rams.  His favorite target, Danny Amendola, did not shine today and left the game at one point with what appeared to be an ankle injury.  He would return to the game.  Running back Steven Jackson kept the Rams’ offense alive accounting for 81 yards.  This is HUGE for the Jets who have had a long week after news surfaced that teammates anonymously went to the press saying that back up quarterback Tim Tebow was ‘terrible’.  The Jets won’t have much time to celebrate their win; the play their division rival New England Patriots on Thanksgiving.
