It was the best case scenario for the New York Jets who are once again making headlines for off the field drama. Â The Jets blew out a deflated looking St. Louis team and Mark Sanchez actually had some great passes. Â It seemed as though Tim Tebow was not a thought in anyone’s mind with the way the Jets were playing today. Â Sanchez threw for 178 yards including one touchdown pass to Chaz Schilens.
Sam Bradford could not get anything going for the Rams. Â His favorite target, Danny Amendola, did not shine today and left the game at one point with what appeared to be an ankle injury. Â He would return to the game. Â Running back Steven Jackson kept the Rams’ offense alive accounting for 81 yards. Â This is HUGE for the Jets who have had a long week after news surfaced that teammates anonymously went to the press saying that back up quarterback Tim Tebow was ‘terrible’. Â The Jets won’t have much time to celebrate their win; the play their division rival New England Patriots on Thanksgiving.
