The Super Bowl champion turned ballroom dancer held his own this season on Dancing With the Stars, but fell just short of taking home the mirror ball trophy home. Jacoby and his partner Karina Smirinoff finished third, while country singer Kellie Pickler won the competition. Jones became a household name during this year’s Super Bowl when he broke the record for the longest play in a Super Bowl with a punt return touchdown. Many of Jacoby’s teammates tweeted their supports, including Jones who thanked all the fans who voted for him.
