Â The former Iraqi veteran lost his left leg below the knee and suffered serious hand and foot injuries while overseas in 2006. Â Jacobs has had over 50 surgeries to repair his injuries. Â He has returned to his naval infantry and got a chance to try tryout for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Â While the Dodgers did not announce signing Jacobs, it just goes to show where hard work can get you!
