The Heat impressed everyone in Game 7 against the Indiana Pacers with Dwyane Wade really stepping up and proving that despite injury he can still play at a superstar level.  They will need that type of production from Wade to beat the Spurs who have had ten days rest.  They will also need role players like Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen to build off their success in Game 7.  While the Spurs may not have an answer for Lebron (face it, nobody does), if they can control everybody else, James cannot win the game on his own.

For Game 1, I think Miami will win on their home court. They are coming off a very physical series against Indiana and an emotional win in Game 7.  Hopefully Wade’s knee will hold up because Coach Popovich will be sure to test him on his ability to run around.  This should be a great game and series that will cement one team’s legacy.  Heat or Spurs- who you takin?
