Miami Heat v Chicago BullsTonight is finally the night!  The NBA is back on television and the most anticipated return will finally happen.  No more speculating.  No more guessing.  Derrick Rose is playing tonight and the expectations are high.  He showed not only did he not lose a step since tearing his ACL, but he may have even gotten better.  Rose and the Chicago Bulls invade South Beach where Lebron and company will get their championship rings before the game.  Don’t expect any congratulatory hugs from the Bulls players.

This two teams have not hid the fact that they dislike each other and when they play each other it is always physical.  One player in particular, Joakim Noah, always plays at a higher level against Miami, but it is unclear if he will play tonight.  He has been battling a groin injury throughout preseason.  However, something tells me he will not be able to sit this one out.  While the Miami Heat look to “Three Peat”, the Bulls hope that with the addition of their MVP point guard back, they will be the team that stands in their way.

What a treat we are in for tonight.  The NBA season could not kick off with a more highly-anticipated game.  How will Rose look against the defending champions?  Can Lebron bring his team a third ring in a row?  Will Dwyane Wade look the old Wade of 2006?  We can all start speculating tonight.  I predict the Bulls to give the Heat a reality check and win tonight.  This does not indicate that the Bulls are a more talented team, but they have more fire in their eyes to ruin the Heat’s ring ceremony.  Mario Chalmers covering the new Derrick Rose?  That is not going to end well for the Heat meaning they will quickly have to shift Wade over to cover him.  It will be interesting! Bulls vs. Heat- who you takin?
