It seems like tight end Rob Gronkowski is always in the headlines during the offseason.  Recently, he came under fire after a video surfaced of Gronk dancing and wrestling in Las Vegas during the Super Bowl weekend.  In the video, Gronk is seen wearing his forearm cast and he then appears to fall directly on that arm which he had broken twice during the season.  As expected, most people especially the Patriots front office, were not too thrilled with their tight end.

Teammate and captain Logan Mankins tried his best to defend his tight end to the press.  He released the following statement, As long as he’s not getting DUIs and doing things that are against the law.  I don’t think he’s hurting anyone.  Hopefully he doesn’t hurt his arm. Then that would be bad.  Gronk is a big meathead that likes to party and play football, so I think that’s what he’s doing.”  For some reason, I don’t think that coach Bill Bellichick sees it that way.

In what can be construed as an apology from Gronk himself, a fan took a picture with the star.  In the picture, posted above, you can see that Gronk’s shirt says “Sorry for Partying”.  Could it be a coincidence that Gronk had no other clean shirts to wear?  Probably not, but I think it was a fun way for Gronk to apologize.  Its true he’s not doing anything illegal so I did not expect some elaborate press conference.  If Gronk stays on the clean and narrow for the rest of the offseason I think most people will let this slide.  Do you forgive Rob Gronkowski?
