Add a new injury the Yankees have to deal with. Â Center fielder Curtis Granderson suffered a broken forearm today during a Spring Training game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Â During his first at-bat, pitcher J.A. Happ struck Granderson. Â He was quickly pulled from the game for precautionary reasons when x-rays returned the bad news. Â “I didn’t think it was (fractured),” Granderson said. Â Granderson is a huge loss for the Yankees who are already miss third baseman Alex Rodriguez. Â Granderson supplied most of the power to the team, hitting 43 home runs last year. Â The Yankees will now have to rely on Matt Diaz and Juan Rivera to patrol centerfield. Â Sorry Yankees fans.
