Why do Knicks players and choking others go together so well?  Just kidding, Sprewell fans, but a few nights ago former New York Knicks player Renaldo Balkman was on video choking a fellow teammate.  Balkman no longer plays in the NBA, but in the Philippines, where he sticks out like a sore thumb.  There was a minute left in the game when Balkman tried to argue a call with an official.  Balkman clearly became angry and teammates tried to restrain him from hitting the official.  Instead of taking out his aggression on the official like he wanted, he pushed one teammate and then put both hands around Arwin Santos’ neck.

He was banned from every playing in the Philippines again and was ordered to pay 250,000 pesos.  And we think David Stern is strict?  Imagine he banned every player who put their hands on another player!
