The 2015 ESPN awards, or ESPY’s, as the sports world knows it, was full of laughter, sly digs, inspiration, jokes, and of course, FASHION. There is not one award show attendee on this planet who can make it through an award show without making the coveted “best-dressed” list or its dreaded “worst-dressed” counterpart. While we know that the ESPY’s are completely about honoring those athletes that have achieved a pinnacle point in their careers, what you wear in the public eye definitely matters.

Sports as Told by a Girl is here to bring you our best-dressed picks from the 2015 ESPY’s.

Hope Solo

American soccer goalie for the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team and recent U.S. champion is our number one pick. Her shimmering silver gown showed off her curves in a tasteful way. Boy did she look AMAZING sitting front row last night!

Alex Morgan

Soccer player and gold medalist Alex Morgan, like her teammate, kills it on the field and off the field. She stunned in a nude bodice with a navy overlay, complemented a long black skirt with a high slit. Her slicked back hair and her delicate strappy heels were perfect for her modern gown.

Robin Roberts

OK – Robin Roberts totally took elegance to another level. Her crocheted, chain-like Wes Gordon top paired perfectly with her wide-leg cream pants by the same label. She looked modest, sexy, and so professional in the pointed silver pumps and metallic accessories she paired with the ensemble.

Christen Press

As one of the leading ladies on the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team that just celebrated a championship, it is no surprise that she rocked it on the red carpet in a structured black gown with black strappy heels.

Lindsey Vonn

We couldn’t get enough of Lindsey Vonn last night. Every time she hit the stage or she was shown on camera, she completely glowed and it complemented her red gown. With a high-slit and peep toe booties, the World Cup Alpine ski racer took wearing red on the red carpet to where no other female celeb has before.

Danica Patrick

Auto racer Danica Patrick kept it cool for the summer in her high-low palm-printed ensemble. With lime heels and bouffant slicked back hair, it’s clear that this racer chick has her style in check.

Russell Wilson & Ciara

What a couple wears on the red carpet says a lot about them. Ciara and beau Russell Wilson dazzled in coordinated burgundy and marsala colored ensembles. Wilson kept it classy in an all burgundy suit; Ciara showed off a little leg and her post-baby body in an ombre dressed, cinched at the waist.

Ronda Rousey

Not too casual, but not too formal is the look that UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion went for. She opted for a form-fitting mesh dress that she paired with a Swarovski clutch and simple T-strap heels. Her ponytail kept it polished.

Odell Beckham Jr.

Did you think we were going to leave Odell out of this? Last night, he took home the award for “best play,” and today he’s making the best-dressed list everywhere. During NYFW in February 2015, he was hanging out front row at the Public School NYC show with Anna Wintour, so it’s no surprise that this NFL star is on the fashion radar. Donning a red textured jacket with a simple black button down underneath and a black pant, he looked like he just stepped off of a runway. He paired them with dark red shiny smoking slippers. We definitely think his hair completed the look.

Who do you think hit the mark or missed it just a bit at the 2015 ESPY’s? Let us know! @SportsasTold
