After one of the craziest offseasons any player has ever had, Elvis Dumervil has found a new home in Baltimore. Â The defensive end has signed a five year contract with the Ravens after being cut by the Denver Broncos. Â The Broncos and Dumervil had reached a deal, but Dumervil’s agent did not fax over the signed contract before the signing bonus deadline. Â This is a good move for the Ravens who have lost so many key figures on defense. Â He will be a good veteran leader who will try and fill the gaping hole left behind by Ray Lewis’s retirement and Ed Reed’s departure to Houston. Â The Broncos are looking at Dwight Freeney, Peyton Manning’s former teammate, and John Abraham to fill Dumervil’s spot.
